Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking an Engineering professional to support manufacturing processes, tooling, and equipment validation. The role emphasizes execution within standard practices, with autonomy aligned to the operating discipline and guidance as needed.

The candidate will define production processes, validate designs for shop floor applications, and provide quotes for new products or changes. Will mentor junior contributors and drive quality improvements across teams.

Responsibilities

• Uses judgment and has ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters but with guidance.
• Uses prior experience and on-the-job training to solve straightforward tasks.
• Has access to technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems.
• May use multiple sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.
• A job at this level is likely to be an individual contributor looking to grow their leadership skills and provide a pathway for a technical management career progression.
• Provide mentorship and daily direction to the individual contributors on the team.

Required Qualifications

• Master’s Degree from an accredited university or college with at least 2 additional years of experience in manufacturing or operations
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college with At least 4 additional years of experience in manufacturing or operations
• 2 year technical degree with at least 8 years of experience in manufacturing or operations
• High school diploma / GED with at least 8 years of experience in manufacturing or operations

Pay Transparency

The base pay range for this position is $90,400- $110,000. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for 10% performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity. The company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120%, or 130% of salary in certain areas. This posting is expected to close on Dec. 3, 2024 or when suitable candidate identified.
