Job summary

AST SpaceMobile is seeking an Engineer to join our Manufacturing Engineering team as on-site lead for a primary satellite subsystem on our high-volume Midland, TX line. You will drive continuous improvement, troubleshoot equipment, and own documentation from SOPs to CAD drawings and time studies.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in engineering, 2+ years Lean manufacturing experience, and strong cross-functional collaboration. Hands-on hardware mindset and bias for reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Minimum 2 years lean manufacturing experience.
• Experience with manufacturing equipment and documentation.
