JOB SUMMARY
Leading the Manufacturing Engineering Department to operate efficiently, with integrity and enthusiasm, aiming for excellence and continuous improvement. Contributing proactively as part of the management team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work closely with Test and Quality Engineering leads and the Manufacturing Shift Lead to optimize and execute process testing.
- Manage and lead Manufacturing Engineers and Machine Support Engineers, coordinating daily activities to support the manufacturing plan.
- Exhibit expert knowledge of the corporate Manufacturing Engineering environment and share relevant information within the team.
- Drive improvements in technical systems and support the development of new systems.
- Assist the Engineering Manager with equipment evaluation, labor forecasting, and skills assessment for current and future needs.
- Benchmark technologies and implement best-in-class engineering solutions.
- Lead and manage the Manufacturing Engineering function, including performance management, training, and development.
- Promote innovation and continuous improvement within the team.
- Create and maintain effective customer relationships, supporting business development and providing customer-focused solutions.
- Identify internal customer needs and foster a continuous improvement culture focused on cost, quality, and delivery improvements.
- Establish service level agreements and support site and global objectives through Lean deployment.

- Strong problem-solving abilities, data collection, and analysis skills.
- Proficiency in Windows OS and related software, including Jabil’s software packages.
- Ability to write clear correspondence and understand visual aids.
- Basic arithmetic skills, including rate, ratio, and graph interpretation.
