Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in modality.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintains inventory of materials and supplies and procures as needed.
• Provides instruction to technologists and staff through formal and informal education.
• Allocates work assignments and participates in staff training.
• Operates and maintains mammography equipment and accessories.
• Prepares schedules and handles on-call coverage.
• Maintains radiation safety standards in the department.
• Performs diagnostic and screening mammography on adults as required.
• Documents in EMR (EPIC) and ensures correct patient labeling.
