MetroWest Medical Center seeks a Lead Mammography Technologist to oversee daily mammography services at the 61 Lincoln Street Wellness Center. This role combines hands-on imaging with site leadership to ensure high-quality exams, excellent patient experience, regulatory readiness, and smooth workflow.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Current ARRT certification in Radiography.
• Current ARRT certification in Mammography.
• Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist license.
• Current BLS certification.
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of mammography experience preferred.
• Prior lead, charge, or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Operations: Oversee daily mammography services.
• Performs screening and diagnostic mammography per standards and MQSA/ACR guidelines.
• Ensure exams are completed accurately, safely, and efficiently.
• Review daily schedules for appropriate exam type and readiness.
• Collaborate with radiologists for diagnostic workups and same-day add-ons when appropriate.
• Maintain image quality and support repeat reduction efforts.
• Ensure equipment is functioning and escalate issues promptly.
