Job summary

Elon University seeks an Instructional Technologist for the Maker Hub to oversee makerspace operations across two locations, supervise student staff, and support the integration of making into teaching and learning. The position requires a Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction or an equivalent combination of education and experience, plus strong knowledge of digital fabrication tools

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction or related field with 1–2 years in instructional technology or makerspace ops or
  • Bachelor's +5 years in instructional technology, makerspace ops, or digital fabrication
  • Experience with makerspace tools and safety practices required.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day makerspace operations across two locations.
  • Supervise and develop student staff, including training and scheduling.
  • Collaborate with faculty to integrate maker activities into courses and learning experiences.
