Job summary

Aerotek in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Maintenance Technician to lead maintenance decisions and support cutting-edge technology. This is a permanent, on-site role with 1st shift hours 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM and a pay range of $30.00 - $35.00 per hour.

The position involves maintaining large presses, furnaces, and production equipment while troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC systems to maximize uptime in a fast-paced facility.

Qualifications

3+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
PLC troubleshooting experience.
Experience with 480V electrical systems.
Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
Hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, and motor controls experience.
Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings.
Preventive maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
Maintain large presses, furnaces, and production equipment.
Diagnose PLC and control system issues.
Perform preventive maintenance to maximize uptime.
Support automated manufacturing operations.
Perform root cause analysis on equipment failures.
Prioritize repairs in a fast-paced production environment.
