Job summary

American Appliance Products, LLC in Newport, TN is seeking a Lead or Senior Maintenance Technician to support and improve the reliability of our manufacturing operations. This day shift role offers overtime opportunities and competitive pay based on experience and market value.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of industrial maintenance, with hands-on experience in plating or powder coating operations, and will mentor technicians while partnering with the Maintenance Manager to drive

Qualifications

5+ years of industrial maintenance experience; senior-level preferred.
Experience supporting plating lines, powder coating lines, paint systems, or similar finishing processes.
Strong troubleshooting in electrical systems, PLCs and industrial controls, mechanical systems, hydraulics and pneumatics, motors and drives.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
High school diploma or GED; technical certification or trade school training preferred.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment and systems.
Support and maintain plating and/or powder coating lines and associated pumps, conveyors, ovens, tanks, controls, and environmental systems.
Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control system issues.
Lead maintenance activities during equipment outages and major repairs.
Mentor technicians and provide technical guidance to the team.
Partner with production and engineering to minimize downtime and improve reliability.
Maintain maintenance records, work orders, and documentation.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and company standards.
