Scope

The Lead Maintenance Technician's overall responsibilities include performing repairs and general maintenance work of facilities, buildings, grounds, and equipment. This includes electrical, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, glazier, and painting tasks for a small portfolio of communities.

Responsibilities
  • Physically examine the properties regularly.
  • Purchase supplies for the properties.
  • Manage repairs and maintenance with vendors, ensuring proper care of the property.
  • Maintain pools, landscaping, utilities, roads, signage, clubhouse, and other items as required.
  • Maintain and improve community quality and keep public areas clean and safe.
  • Troubleshoot property needs.
  • Supervise outside contractors working on the properties.
  • Adhere to all maintenance and purchasing directives, including property inspections, maintenance assignments, utility system readings, landscaping, safety, and special maintenance items.
  • Maintain all personal property, including laundry machines, landscape equipment, and office equipment.
  • Responsible for onboarding and training all Maintenance Team members in the assigned area.
  • Document and follow up on training of Maintenance Team, reporting to Regional Manager and Human Resources.
