San Joaquin Valley Rehabilitation Hospital, located in Fresno, CA, is a 62-bed acute rehab hospital providing rehabilitative services to patients recovering from disabilities caused by injuries or illnesses. We help patients regain physical or cognitive abilities to return home at their highest level of independence. As a smaller, specialized hospital, we offer a fast-paced and friendly environment where you can build strong relationships with patients and their families.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the facility and equipment in a safe and efficient manner, complying with all applicable standards, guidelines, regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Assist with general repairs and perform preventive maintenance according to schedule.
• Ensure a safe environment by following safety policies and procedures for equipment.
• Follow established procedures and safety practices to prevent injuries.
• This position may also include security responsibilities.

Required Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one year of experience in building or mechanical fields.

Additional Qualifications/Skills

• Electrician or other maintenance certifications preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems preferred.
