About Us: Miami Valley Child Development Centers is southwest Ohio’s Head Start agency. For over 55 years, we’ve been providing FREE early learning and childcare to children from 6 weeks to 5 years old. Our unique two-pronged approach builds family well-being by working with both children and their families to access resources, solve problems, and develop skills. We have Family Support Specialists, Home Visitors, and Coaches ready to partner with you. Families must typically earn 100% or less of the Federal Poverty Level; children experiencing homelessness, in foster or kinship care, or with disabilities may also qualify. We offer full-day and part-day options at over 27 locations in Montgomery, Clark, and Madison counties.

Basic Functions: To maintain agency equipment and facilities, ensuring they are clean, functional, and well-maintained. Assist in receiving and delivering equipment and supplies. Ensure compliance with Head Start Performance Standards. Travel between counties (Montgomery, Clark, and Madison) may be required based on center needs.

Classification: Full-Time, Full-Year, Non-Exempt.

Minimum Credentials: High School Diploma/GED; three or more years of experience in general maintenance.

Reports to: Facilities Coordinator

Compensation & Benefits:

Salary: Base salary will be commensurate with education and experience.
