Position Overview: The Lead Maintenance Technician maintains and supervises the maintenance operations for the hotel, including refrigeration, heating, plumbing, and other systems, ensuring standards are met and guest experience is optimized.

Compensation:

Base pay range: $57,500/year. Actual pay depends on skills and experience.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect property daily for safety, cleanliness, and maintenance needs
• Prioritize work orders and troubleshoot maintenance issues
• Perform and supervise maintenance tasks on various systems and equipment
• Maintain preventative maintenance schedules
• Manage inventory, purchasing, and departmental budget
• Ensure grounds and building exterior maintenance
• Coordinate with inspectors and ensure compliance
• Respond to emergencies and complete shift reports
• Attend management meetings and ensure safety procedures

Qualifications:

• 1+ year as Lead Maintenance Tech or 2-3 years as Maintenance Tech in hospitality
• Effective communication skills
• Basic tech skills and knowledge of OSHA and building codes
• Extensive knowledge in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, carpentry, painting, drywall, and safety systems
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift 50 pounds; flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
