Job summary

Purdue University Northwest seeks a Lead Maintenance Technician to join the facilities team at the Westville campus with travel to other PNW locations as needed. The role focuses on building envelope and all building systems, operating the central heating and cooling plant, and supervising maintenance staff.

Availability for emergencies is required. Compensation includes comprehensive benefits and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Experience in building system maintenance and repair in a commercial or institutional setting.
• Steam boiler experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• General maintenance of buildings and troubleshooting of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Operate and assist in the central heating and cooling plant.
• Oversight of energy management system and scheduling of HVAC.
• Assist Maintenance Manager in assigning work orders and prioritizing work.
• Provide supervision in manager's absence and be available for emergency call outs.
