Job Description
PLK Communities is an owner and manager of residential apartment communities. We are currently seeking a full-time Lead Maintenance Technician.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Lead and perform hands-on maintenance tasks
- Maintain the physical integrity and safety of the community
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve maintenance issues
- Perform property maintenance, including grounds and common areas
- HVAC service and repair (training available)
- Prepare apartments for new residents
- Complete work orders efficiently
- Ensure proper trash removal and disposal
- Provide leadership, guidance, and development to the maintenance team

Minimum Requirements
- 3-5 years of multi-family/apartment maintenance experience
- Supervisory or lead experience
- Basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Tools including hammer, screwdrivers, channel locks, multimeter, Allen wrenches, pliers, knife, flashlight
- Ability to respond to after-hours emergency calls as part of an on-call rotation
