Job Description

PLK Communities is an owner and manager of residential apartment communities. We are currently seeking a full-time Lead Maintenance Technician.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Lead and perform hands-on maintenance tasks
  • Maintain the physical integrity and safety of the community
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve maintenance issues
  • Perform property maintenance, including grounds and common areas
  • HVAC service and repair (training available)
  • Prepare apartments for new residents
  • Complete work orders efficiently
  • Ensure proper trash removal and disposal
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and development to the maintenance team

Minimum Requirements
  • 3-5 years of multi-family/apartment maintenance experience
  • Supervisory or lead experience
  • Basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical skills
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Tools including hammer, screwdrivers, channel locks, multimeter, Allen wrenches, pliers, knife, flashlight
  • Ability to respond to after-hours emergency calls as part of an on-call rotation
