As our Lead Maintenance Technician, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our residents' lives by creating safe, comfortable, and beautiful homes. You will collaborate with the Community Manager and Maintenance Technician(s) to assess property needs and prioritize improvements. Your frequent interactions with residents will be characterized by patience and knowledge, contributing to a positive living environment. Join us and become a vital part of our mission!

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure high-quality living environments by maintaining appliances and finishes, creating a welcoming atmosphere for residents.
  • Regularly inspect units, identify improvements, and perform repairs skillfully.
  • Repair appliances such as refrigerators, stoves, water heaters, and HVAC units.
  • Fix damages to walls, ceilings, cabinets, and other finishes.
  • Replace windows, doors, and flooring as needed.
  • Utilize carpentry, plumbing, and electrical skills to address issues in apartments.
  • Coordinate with the Community Manager for planning purchases and upgrades based on property needs and budget.
Physical Requirements

This role involves hands-on work, including:

  • Using ladders to access various areas.
  • Managing electrical and plumbing components safely.
  • Using leak detection equipment.
  • Refueling equipment safely.
  • Working in various weather conditions.
  • Lifting objects over 50 pounds regularly.
Uniforms and Safety Equipment

Maintain uniforms and safety gear in good condition.

Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Must be 18+ years old
  • Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking)
  • Valid driver’s license
  • At least 5 years of maintenance experience
  • Ability to obtain necessary licenses (e.g., CFC, EPA Type I)
  • Knowledge of building systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
