The Lead Maintenance Technicianis responsible for maintaining the property in a safe, attractive and comfortable condition. This individual will maintain relationships with other service staff, residents and vendors. Some key responsibilities will include providing the highest level of customer service,make regular inspections of grounds and buildings as part of a preventative maintenance plan, complete service requests and assistwith the apartment make-ready process. The Lead Maintenance Technician reports directly to the Maintenance Supervisor.

Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Prepare vacantapartment homes for occupancy by making any necessary repairs
• Complete work orders in occupied homes while providing fast, friendly service
• Assists in organization and assignment of service work orders at the Sr. Maintenance Supervisor'sdirection
• Follow preventive maintenance guidelines
• Maintain property grounds
• HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance and all other service requests
• Team work to achieve property goals
• Follow safety procedures
• Assists in maintaining inventory, required company logs, orderliness, and safety of tools,equipment, supplies and maintenance shop
• Assists with mentoring and training other grounds and maintenance technicians at the Sr. Maintenance Supervisor's direction

Qualifications

• Strong maintenance background in the Property Managementor Hospitality industry
• Hard worker with strong organizational skills
• Valid Driver's License with auto insurance
• EPA Certification required
• Knowledge and experience with pools highly preferred
• Strong customer service skills
• Strong customer service skills
• Leadership skills, must be able to work together with a team well
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
• Must be available after hours and weekends for on-call responsibilities (rotated schedule)
