Job summary
Petmate is seeking a 3rd Shift Maintenance Tech 3 in Arlington, TX to perform complex maintenance and preventative inspections on manufacturing equipment. You will diagnose issues, lead technicians, and ensure safe, efficient operation of machines in a fast-paced plastics environment.
The role requires reading manuals and wiring diagrams, implementing preventive maintenance plans, and supporting installation or relocation projects while mentoring teammates for optimal uptime and safety
Qualifications
- HS Diploma or GED required with an industrial trade background preferred.
- Experience in maintenance/repair of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret manuals, diagrams, and work orders.
Responsibilities
- Lead technicians in diagnosing malfunctions and guiding peers.
- Define and execute preventative maintenance plans on complex equipment.
- Read manuals and diagrams to perform required service and maintenance.
- Lead installation or relocation projects for machine tools and train staff.
- Oversee parameter control and safety device maintenance.
- Monitor equipment settings and perform component replacements as needed.
- Support chiller, air compressors and material handling equipment maintenance.
- Rebuild or repair equipment to maximize uptime and reliability.
- Schedule and manage maintenance activities within CMMS.
