Marriott Vacations Worldwide is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician to oversee maintenance operations and lead shifts, ensuring high standards of safety and service for Owners and guests in a dynamic resort environment.

You will perform preventative maintenance on appliances and systems, supervise team members, and coordinate with other departments to meet guest expectations and operational goals.

Qualifications

• Lead Maintenance Technician with supervisory responsibilities.
• Experience with HVAC, refrigeration, and kitchen equipment maintenance.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Flexible shifts including holidays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventative maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication.
• Installs and maintains appliances, electronics, and equipment.
• Leads shifts and supervises associates as scheduled.
• Monitors refrigeration, HVAC, and air quality systems for proper operation.
• Supports guest experience by maintaining safety standards and service quality.

As a Lead Maintenance Technician, a typical day will include:

• Performs preventative maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication.

• Installs and maintains appliances, electronics, and equipment.

• Leads shifts and supervises associates as scheduled.

• Performs preventative maintenance for all kitchen equipment according to standard.

• Monitors resort sprinkler systems to ensure accordance with company policy and local code.

• Inspects, repairs, and maintains HVAC, air quality control, and refrigeration equipment.

Guest Experience and Company Standards

• Welcome and greet guests and anticipate and address their needs.

• Interact with colleagues and guests professionally and promptly.

• Contribute to team goals.

• Always follow company policies and safety procedures.

To Become a Lead Maintenance Technician at MVW:

• Available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days.

• Reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, and be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.

• Lift/Carry/Push/Pull Items that Weigh up to 75lbs without assistance.

• Position may require background and drug screening contingent on company policy in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
