Job Details

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule maintenance activities, ensuring equipment, parts, and personnel are ready to support production needs
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on critical systems including production lines, packaging machines, utilities, and facility infrastructure
• Lead maintenance operations across the facility, overseeing equipment reliability and building upkeep
• Train and guide maintenance technicians, helping them grow while ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality standards
• Assist with performance reviews and coaching, supporting a high-performing, compliant team culture
• Monitor and report on maintenance performance, cost-saving initiatives, and team development
• Support emergency procedures and documentation requirements for site safety
• Partner with leadership to identify continuous improvement opportunities in safety, sanitation, food quality, and productivity
  
  

What you need for this position

• High school diploma or GED
• Associate’s degree or higher in a technical field (mechanical, electrical, automation, etc.) OR relevant military experience in a mechanical or electrical specialty
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in maintenance, electromechanical systems, or automation
• Proven experience meeting or exceeding expectations in a senior-level maintenance or mechanic role
• Strong understanding of maintenance processes, documentation, and team leadership
• Ability to drive technical excellence while fostering a collaborative, safety-focused environment
• Active Minnesota State Boiler license required
