Volunteers of America Los Angeles is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician to oversee repairs, maintenance and construction at VOALA sites in Los Angeles. This on-site, full-time role reports to the Maintenance Manager and requires planning, supervising staff, and ensuring safety and quality across projects.
Minimum of four years in facilities maintenance or construction with leadership experience is required. A California driver’s license is preferred.

PAY RATE: $29.76 - $31.33 Per Hour
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Lead Maintenance Technician has responsibility for oversight of construction, repairs and maintenance operations for designated VOALA sites. This position requires the ability to work flexible hours.
Ability to work and deal with difficult, uncooperative, and potentially aggressive clients as VOALA serves the neediest of the needy in our programs, which may include clients with homelessness, mental illness, substance abuse, recently released from incarceration, and other challenges.
As service providers to the underprivileged and vulnerable in our community, all employees are considered Mandated Reporters, and must report any instance of physical or sexual abuse to proper authorities.
