Job summary

LBA Hospitality is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician to support the General Manager by overseeing hotel maintenance, completing repairs, and managing preventative maintenance to keep the property safe and well maintained.

This on-site leadership role requires hands-on repair work, supervision of maintenance staff, and proactive facility management to ensure top service quality for guests.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of maintenance technician or similar experience.
• HVAC and Pool Maintenance certifications preferred.
• Working knowledge of preventative maintenance, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.
• Ability to safely operate hand and power tools.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong troubleshooting, organization, communication, and leadership skills.
• Must meet company security clearance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, and other building systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance according to company and brand standards.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and work orders.
• Inspect and maintain the hotel’s interior, exterior, equipment, and grounds.
• Train and supervise maintenance staff and designated associates on maintenance and safety procedures.
• Maintain required maintenance logs, checklists, and documentation.
• Ensure appropriate tools and equipment are available and properly maintained.
• Identify and address safety hazards.
• Manage maintenance activities within budget while maintaining service standards.
• Provide professional, guest-focused service and maintain guest privacy.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical & Scheduling Requirements

• Ability to push/pull up to 100 lbs. and lift/carry up to 60 lbs.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, climb ladders, bend, crawl, kneel, and reach.
• May work outdoors in hot or cold conditions.
• Flexible availability, including nights and weekends.
• This is an on-site hotel position.
