Job summary

Fanatics Betting & Gaming seeks a Lead Maintenance Technician to serve as the working technical lead for the maintenance team on shift. You will combine hands-on equipment maintenance with team coordination, ensuring preventive and corrective programs are executed on time and to standard.

The role requires 4–7 years of maintenance experience in a warehouse environment, plus PLC, CMMS, and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of progressive maintenance experience in a warehouse/fulfillment/industrial environment.
• Advanced knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems; PLC experience preferred.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage a team workload, and adapt to shifting priorities.
• Proficiency in CMMS platforms; experience generating maintenance reports and KPIs.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and interpersonal skills; drive accountability and productivity.
• OSHA 30 certification required (or ability to obtain within 60 days).
• Experience with RCA and reliability improvements is a plus.
• Ability to read schematics, P&IDs, and OEM docs.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying temps.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for shift reporting.

Responsibilities

• Perform the full scope of maintenance technician duties, including PMs, repairs, and facility upkeep.
• Serve as the shift-level lead; assign and prioritize work orders and PM tasks.
• Lead start-up and handoff meetings; communicate status and safety concerns.
• Provide real-time troubleshooting guidance and escalations for complex issues.
• Monitor PM completion rates, MTTR, and equipment availability; report variances.
• Review completed work orders for accuracy and compliance before closure.
• Identify skill gaps; provide coaching and mentorship.
• Coordinate maintenance with operations to minimize downtime and maintain SLAs.
• Enforce safety policies (LOTO, hot work, PPE) and address unsafe conditions.
• Assist in spare parts inventory management and RCA activities.
