Job summary

Simplified Management is seeking a Lead Maintenance Tech for the Lewiston/Auburn, Maine portfolio. You will perform, supervise, and review maintenance, repairs, and unit turns, diagnosing problems and guiding technicians to safe, thorough outcomes.

Strong hands-on carpentry, drywall, painting, and basic electrical/plumbing skills help ensure quality work. You’ll maintain detailed records, follow procedures, and participate in on-call coverage with mileage reimbursement for travel.

Qualifications

• Minimum hands-on maintenance experience in building trades.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Experience leading technicians or crews preferred.
• Ability to maintain accurate work-order records.
• Willingness to pass background screening.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance and oversee repairs, unit turns, inspections, and projects.
• Diagnose problems and determine repair methods, materials, and labor.
• Support technicians in the field and inspect completed work.
• Maintain complete work-order documentation with photos and receipts.
• Ensure work meets quality and safety standards and follows procedures.
