Job summary

Chamberlin + Associates, a family-owned property management company in Tucson, seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team and ensure timely work orders, PMs, and unit turns. You will manage budgets, coordinate vendors, and maintain safety standards across the community, while communicating with ownership and management.

The role rewards hands-on leadership, a strong technical background, and a focus on resident service. A $250 sign-on bonus is available after 30 days.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of maintenance experience in multifamily residential or related field.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, drywall, and carpentry.
• EPA 608 Certification.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies and manage an on-call rotation.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and develop the maintenance team to perform at a high level.
• Assign daily work orders and prioritize tasks to maximize efficiency.
• Train, coach, and mentor maintenance staff to build skill and accountability.
• Foster a safe, resident-focused maintenance culture.
• Oversee rent-ready unit preparation and coordinate move-in schedules.
• Respond to maintenance emergencies and ensure timely resolution.
• Troubleshoot complex maintenance issues and provide hands-on support.
• Conduct regular property inspections and address safety concerns.
• Plan and oversee preventive maintenance program.
• Coordinate and manage vendors, contractors, and service providers.
• Monitor budgets and control expenses to meet financial targets.
• Maintain records in AppFolio and complete required reports.
• Communicate with Property Manager and Regional Maintenance Supervisor.
