Job summary

Sage Ventures in the Baltimore/Washington region seeks a Maintenance Supervisor under the direct supervision of the Property Manager to oversee maintenance and repairs of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and related building systems.

You will supervise maintenance staff, plan schedules, manage departmental budgets, and conduct evaluations while upholding safety and quality standards across properties.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of maintenance experience with prior supervisory exposure.
• Extensive knowledge of plumbing, electrical and HVAC systems.
• Skilled in drywall, plaster, painting and carpentry.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to plan maintenance schedules and identify repairs.
• Good communication and customer service abilities.
• Must have own tools and be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Oversees maintenance and repairs of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry and related systems.
• Evaluates systems to determine work and schedules.
• Hires, trains and supervises maintenance staff; conducts evaluations.
• Plans work assignments, creates schedules and monitors timelines.
• Helps develop maintenance procedures and budgets for projects.
• Ensures timely completion of work and adherence to safety rules.
