Job summary

Highmark Residential in North Port, FL is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to organize and manage the upkeep of Grande Court at North Port. You will direct maintenance staff, oversee preventative maintenance, and coordinate with contractors to keep the community market-ready and well maintained.

Qualifications

• Five years of apartment management and supervisor experience.
• Must be able to direct, motivate, train and develop subordinates.
• Type II A/C Certification or Universal.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Directs and oversees maintenance staff to keep all community areas maintained.
• Monitors and improves team performance through on‑the‑job skill development.
• Maintains inventory levels and orders supplies as needed.
• Works hands-on to ensure market-ready and preventative maintenance is performed timely.
• Obtains bids and coordinates with contractors, understanding competitive pricing of supplies.
• Collaborates with Property Manager on the community maintenance budget and expenditures.
