Lead Maintenance Supervisor | Multifamily

Blayze Group is partnering with an established real estate development and property management company to appoint an experienced Lead Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance operations at a 200-unit multifamily apartment community in Dallas, TX.

This opportunity is suited to someone with at least 3 years of multifamily maintenance experience, a valid HVAC certification, and the ability to lead maintenance operations while remaining hands-on with repairs and preventative maintenance.

The Role:

You will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day maintenance operations, ensuring the property is maintained to a high standard and delivering an excellent living experience for residents.

Responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing maintenance operations across a 200-unit multifamily apartment community.
• Leading and supporting maintenance technicians to ensure work orders are completed efficiently.
• Diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and appliances.
• Managing preventative maintenance programs to reduce equipment failures and costly repairs.
• Coordinating apartment turnovers, make-ready repairs, and unit inspections.
• Responding to resident maintenance requests and emergency repairs.Managing maintenance supplies, inventory, and relationships with external contractors.
• Ensuring compliance with property safety standards and maintenance procedures.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of maintenance experience within multifamily apartment communities.
• Valid HVAC certification is required.
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general property maintenance.
• Experience handling maintenance requests, preventative maintenance, and apartment turnovers.
• Ability to lead maintenance teams and manage daily workloads effectively.Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working in a hands-on supervisory position.
