Job summary
Integrated Real Estate Group in Houston, TX seeks a Lead Maintenance to ensure smooth mechanical operations of all facility equipment and preventative maintenance. This role requires developing maintenance programs, inspecting HVAC and fire systems, and keeping accurate maintenance records.
The candidate will assist in budgeting and coordinate with the Administrator on staffing decisions. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, and an associate degree in a related vocational field is
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Associate degree in vocational field and/or vocational training in electrical, mechanical, architectural engineering, refrigeration, heating and cooling, or plumbing preferred.
- Must be licensed in accordance with current standards, codes, labor laws, etc.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a preventative maintenance program.
- Maintain safe operating and fire prevention practices.
- Investigate machinery failures to determine cause and prevent recurrence.
- Repair emergency breakdowns promptly.
- Advise on wear and tear and facility needs.
- Prepare annual repair budget and report to the Administrator.
