Job summary

Qualifications

• Proficient mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting.
• Ability to read schematics, blueprints and manuals.
• Experience leading maintenance activities and coordinating daily tasks.
• Proficient with CMMS to log work orders and PMs.
• Bilingual English/Spanish and/or English/Polish preferred.
• Knowledge of National Electrical Code.
• Food processing industry experience.
• Fabrication and welding of stainless steel parts and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily activities and assign tasks to mechanics; train and monitor performance.
• Assist parts procurement and planning of repairs.
• Lead preventive maintenance activities and major repairs across the facility.
• Operate CMMS to complete work orders and log issues.
• Communicate with Technical Support and production personnel to resolve issues.
• Perform electrical repairs and troubleshoot PLC controls, motor controls and circuits.
• Read and interpret schematics, drawings and manuals to verify facts.
• Perform emergency repairs including welding and fabrication of stainless parts.
