Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year related experience in engineering and maintenance or related area.
• One year certificate from college or technical school; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to work as part of a team and complete tasks individually
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced work environment
• Solid organizational, time-management and prioritization skills
• Exceptional customer service skills

Responsibilities

• Review, analyze and report on preventative maintenance results of key property areas.
• Maintain preventative maintenance schedule for public spaces and guest rooms.
• Ensure proper inventory of equipment, parts and supplies.
• Direct, train and mentor Engineering staff in troubleshooting and repair.
• Coordinate work assignments and maintain records on completed and pending work orders.
• Troubleshoot equipment and facilities and make repairs.
• Perform preventative maintenance in guest rooms and on equipment.
• Perform pool and spa maintenance according to specs and regulations.
• Assist with outdoor seasonal work and snow removal.
• Maintain cleanliness of the engineering shop and related areas.
• Log readings from meters and gauges; communicate room status changes.
• Maintain knowledge of Fire Alarms/Life Safety systems and handle emergencies.
• Assist other departments with moving furniture and storing supplies.
