Job summary

Jubilant HollisterStier is seeking a Maintenance Controls Tech III to oversee production equipment controls (PLCs) and electrical/mechanical projects, providing lead support in preventive maintenance, updates, and installation.

The role requires strong PLC knowledge, blueprints reading, low voltage work, and collaboration with maintenance and engineering teams. Benefits start day one and a clear path for growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• AAS Degree and Technical Certification preferred.
• PLC training or degree preferred.
• 4+ years related experience required.
• Microsoft Word experience required.
• Mechanical Aptitude; PLC duties with maintenance experience.
• Manual Dexterity required.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints.
• Two-year technical degree with 5–10 years of experience in process controls or applications.
• Lead Experience, Pharmaceutical/Regulated Industry Experience preferred.
• Advanced Vocational/Specialized Knowledge preferred.
• Microsoft Excel experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide controls expertise on PLCs, loop control equipment, VFDs, chart recorders and I/O devices.
• Train and provide guidance to other maintenance technicians.
• Lead low voltage (<480V) electrical troubleshooting and repairs.
• Read and understand blueprints, P&ID diagrams and electrical schematics.
• Understand DC/AC circuits and motor control for troubleshooting.
• Use MS Office; SAP experience desired.
