Job summary

The State of Oklahoma seeks a Construction/Maintenance Technician for Grand Lake: Bernice State Park. This full-time role leads maintenance teams, oversees daily upkeep and repairs of lodge facilities, and runs preventative maintenance to keep guest areas safe and functional.

Required experience in building trades, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and flexibility for varied hours, including holidays or events. Starting pay is $15.85/hr with potential increase after a one-year trial.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Five (5) years of experience in building trades or equivalent.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform demanding physical tasks.
• Some locations require a valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily upkeep and repair of Grand Lake Lodge facilities.
• Lead maintenance teams and manage preventative maintenance programs.
• Ensure lodge complies with health and safety standards to prevent disruptions.
• Perform plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general maintenance tasks as needed.
• Schedule, supervise, and manage work of others; write and maintain records.
• Perform other duties to support daily operations.
