Sandalwood Management is seeking a Maintenance Lead to supervise the maintenance team and support the upkeep of Tapestry on Louetta, a 358-unit property in Spring, TX. The role requires managing multiple priorities and performing a wide range of repairs.

The position offers 30.00–33.00 USD per hour, with potential bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package. On-call availability and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of multifamily housing maintenance experience.
• EPA Universal license/HVAC required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Certified Pool Operator is a plus.
• Ability to work on-call, evenings and rotating weekends.
• Pre-employment background check and drug test required.
• Smartphone ownership.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance department to manage priorities and deadlines.
• Schedule and complete preventative maintenance and special projects.
• Collaborate with property manager on budgets and projects.
• Perform electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, painting and appliance repairs.
• Prepare vacant units, complete work orders, and maintain grounds.
• Responsible for 24-hour emergency maintenance.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Details: Job Location: Tapestry on Louetta - Spring, TX 77388, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: $30.00 - $33.00 Hourly, Sandalwood Management is seeking a Maintenance Lead to supervise the maintenance team and assist with general maintenance and upkeep of Tapestry on Louetta, our new 358 unit property, located in Spring TX.

Qualifications:

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Lead maintenance department in order to manage competing priorities and deadlines
• Schedule and complete preventative maintenance programs and special projects as required
• Work with the property manager on budget and projects
• Perform various maintenance repairs in electrical, plumbing, pool, masonry, carpentry, painting, building exteriors, and appliances
• Prepare vacant units, complete work orders, and maintain grounds
• Responsible for 24-hour emergency maintenance
• Other maintenance duties as assigned

WHAT WE NEED:

• 3+ years of multifamily housing maintenance experience and knowledge in repairs, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, building exteriors, appliance repair and installations, etc.
• Valid driver’s license, required
• EPA Universal license/ HVAC, required
• Certified Pool Operator, a plus
• Ability to work on-call, evenings and rotating weekends, required
• Successfully pass pre-employment background check and drug test, required
• Smart phone

COMPENSATION:

• up to $33/Hr negotiable, depending on experience
• Monthly renewal commission and bonus opportunities
