Job summary

Sandalwood Management is seeking a Maintenance Lead to supervise the maintenance team at Tapestry on Louetta, a 358-unit property in Spring, TX. You will lead the maintenance department to manage priorities and collaborate with the property manager on budgets and projects.

Responsibilities include repairs across electrical, plumbing, pool, masonry, carpentry, painting and appliances, preparing vacant units, completing work orders, maintaining grounds, and providing 24-hour emergency maintenance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of multifamily housing maintenance experience with repair skills in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, exteriors, and appliances.
• EPA Universal license / HVAC required.
• Certified Pool Operator a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background and drug screening.
• On-call availability including evenings and rotating weekends.
• Smartphone use required.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance department to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
• Schedule and complete preventative maintenance programs and special projects.
• Work with property manager on budgets and projects.
• Perform electrical, plumbing, pool, masonry, carpentry, painting, exteriors and appliance repairs.
• Prepare vacant units, complete work orders, and maintain grounds.
• Provide 24-hour emergency maintenance.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.
