ReturnPro is looking for a team oriented, driven, and energetic Maintenance & Custodial Team Lead. The Maintenance & Custodial department oversees facility repairs and cleanliness.
Maintenance ensures the facility equipment and machinery run efficiently by conducting regular preventative maintenance (repairing as needed). In addition, Maintenance performs heavy duty cleaning such as cleaning the floors throughout the facility, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish.
Custodial ensures the cleanliness and sanitation of facility restrooms, offices, and breakrooms. In addition, Custodial provides prompt spill cleanup to reduce slips and falls.
The Maintenance & Custodial Lead will be responsible for overseeing and assisting the positions within the department with their everyday tasks, including maintenance associates and custodial associates.

Train maintenance associates on repair and preventative maintenance routines
Train custodial associates on housekeeping routines
Communicate Maintenance & Custodial goals to associates
Ensure associates follow safety protocols and adhere to standard operating procedures
Assist the Maintenance & Custodial Supervisor with day-to-day needs
Replenish supplies
Ensure effective teammate relations
Identify safety hazards in the workplace
Maintain the condition of all material handling equipment owned by ReturnProincluding forklifts, reach trucks and waves
Maintain all automated and manual processing equipment including shrink wrap machines, conveyors, and storage racks improving efficiency where practical
Ensure equipment within the facility does not present a danger to the health or safety of teammates
Maintain complete records of inspections and work completed
Ensure all fire extinguishers, fire exit doors, and emergency lighting are functioning properly and meet all regulatory codes
Design, implement and maintain a preventive maintenance
Maintain sufficient inventory of parts and necessary supplies
Clean designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, restroom cleaning etc.)
Clean windows and mirrors
Clean and supply restrooms
Remove waste and empty trash
Maintain cleaning chart indicating areas that were cleaned and inspected
Replenish cleaning and maintenance supplies
Organize janitorial storage areas
Notify supervisors about unsafe conditions or concerning the need for repairs or maintenance
· A high school qualification or equivalent
· Basic knowledge and skills in electrical, electronics, mechanics, plumbing and carpentry
· Experience in operating bench and portable power tools
· A clean safety record and working knowledge of workplace safety
· Experience in manufacturing would be advantageous
· Knowledge of health and safety laws
· Forklift certification required
· Excellent knowledge of equipment used in the manufacturing process
· Frequently required to walk, bend, use hands, and reach with hands and arms
· Possible weekend work and overtime required (including potential overnight shifts)
· Ability to frequently and repetitively lift, push, and carry up to 35 lbs.
· Ability to frequently and repetitively lift and carry 20 lbs. up and down stairs
· Ability to frequently and repetitively bend, lift and reach to install parts of varying size and weight overhead
· Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
· Attention to detail, accuracy, and task completion
· Ability to manage a team of approximately 5 people
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
· Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
