Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a maintenance technician to oversee and perform troubleshooting, repair, and installations of refrigeration systems, HVAC, and related equipment in a warehouse environment. You will ensure safety, quality, and efficient product flow, coordinating maintenance activities for the assigned area.

The role may involve training Maintenance Trainees, reliving staff for breaks, and performing general upkeep of facilities and grounds per schedule and during emergencies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years experience in maintenance related to warehouse and/or production environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the maintenance crew to ensure safety regulations, procedures, quality standards are met.
• Coordinates Maintenance work for immediate area. Assists in Maintenance Trainee training. Relieves Maintenance personnel for breaks.
• Performs the troubleshooting, repair, maintenance and installations of refrigeration systems, coolers, air compressors, Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems and apparatus.
• Performs maintenance, repairs and installations on various equipment
• Maintains, replace, build, adjusts and modifies the facilities, buildings and the grounds according to a set schedule and in emergency and non-emergency situations.
• Performs general housekeeping duties and keep maintenance area orderly and clean as required. At the end of the shift secure all equipment and complete all necessary reports and paperwork.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
