Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years hands-on mainframe development in COBOL, JCL, VSAM, CICS, DB2, Assembler, REXX, SPUFI, TSO/ISPF, or RACF.
• Minimum 3+ years leading or delivering mainframe modernization initiatives with a track record of delivery.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (or 12+ years of work experience) required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as subject-matter expert across core mainframe technologies and guide project teams.
• Lead design, development, and modernization of mainframe applications, enforcing standards.
• Evaluate legacy systems and propose modernization strategies (rehosting, refactoring, re-platforming, reengineering).
• Oversee implementation of modernization roadmaps from inception through go-live.
