Job summary

You will join an agile team that designs, enhances, and delivers secure, scalable software components for the firm’s state-of-the-art products.

The role requires 5+ years of mainframe and infrastructure experience, hands-on with SMP/E and job-scheduling tools such as CA7 and Control-M, and a strong problem-solving

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering concepts and applied experience.
• Experience with IBM/ISV products like CA7, Control-M, Zeke, Dynatrace, Thruput Manager.
• Deep mainframe systems programming with z/OS, JCL, JES, SDSF, VSAM, Catalog management, SMP/E, USS, Parallel Sysplex.
• Strong problem-solving and clear communication.
• Knowledge of agile and lean methodologies.
• Ability to collaborate across roles to meet objectives.
• Software development experience in languages: REXX, Python, Unix scripting.

• Applies deep technical expertise to analyze complex data and anticipate issues to mitigate risk.
• Architects and implements changes across platforms to modernize the organization and its technology processes.
• Be responsible for infrastructure engineering in accordance with business requirements.
• Drives results and implements multiple complex programs.
• Drives thought leadership within the product line.
• Executes work according to compliance standards, risk and security, and business objectives.
• Advises junior engineers and technologists.
