HOLT CAT in Kilgore, Texas is seeking an experienced Machinist for our heavy construction equipment shop. The Machinist performs machining repairs on heavy equipment and reads blueprints, laying out tasks and drawing working sketches.

Hours are Monday through Friday 7am to 4pm, at 3007 Maverick Drive, Kilgore, TX. You will operate CNC machines and other shop tools, mentor junior machinists, and ensure quality with safety and contamination rules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical schooling preferred.
• Five or more years of machining experience.
• Experience mentoring or leading preferred.

Responsabilités

• Read blueprints and technical publications to lay out tasks.
• Operate CNC and other machine tools to machine parts.
• Lead and mentor fellow machinists on large projects.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness; comply with company policies.
