Job summary

Superior Aerospace Precision Machining is seeking a hands-on Lead Machinist to guide daily machining operations and mentor shop-floor staff. You will set up and run precision machines, read complex drawings, inspect parts, and ensure quality and on-time production.

Our ideal candidate has at least five years of related machining experience, strong attention to detail, and proven leadership abilities to train and evaluate operators while maintaining safety and process controls.

Qualifications

• At least five years of related manufacturing or machining experience.
• Experience setting up and operating machining equipment.
• Read and interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications.
• Ability to use a micrometer to measure to ten-thousandths of an inch.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Leadership experience and ability to train and evaluate employees.
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new systems.
• Knowledge of ISO quality processes and document control.

Responsibilities

Lead Machinist

What You\'ll Do
