Job summary

MEI Industrial Solutions seeks a Foreman (Clean Room) for our Garland, TX operation. You will supervise the rigging crew, plan activities, and ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence on the job site.

You will directly manage machinery moving crews, coordinate with customers and sales, and drive accurate project information while maintaining strong relationships with partners and team members.

Qualifications

• HS diploma with continuing education in Business, Project or Construction Management or related degree a plus.
• Minimum ten (10) years proven machinery moving foreman experience or comparable field preferably within the construction, manufacturing or rigging or machinery moving industry.
• Excellent interpersonal, management, supervisory and project management skills.
• Highly self-directed and motivated.
• Must have extensive experience moving machinery with forklift, skating, leveling and anchoring of machines.
• Must have own hand tools.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office Applications and other business software (such as Wright Plan/CRM) as needed.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record

Responsibilities

• Oversee all job site management activities of the rigging crew.
• Develop, plan and implement crew alignment with customer and sales teams under direction of the job.
• Direct workforce to meet goals in terms of volume, cost, quality, safety and schedule.
• Directly supervise and work with one or more machinery moving crews.
• Hands-on supervision with ability to move machinery using forklifts, skates, and jacks.
• Develop, train and instruct machinery moving crews in rigging operations and safety.
• Coordinate safety training, investigations and reporting with safety personnel.
• Build strong customer and employee relationships with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Develop effective relationships with customers, partners, and support staff.
• Manage project information to ensure accuracy and completeness at the job site.
• Uphold MEI corporate mission, vision, and values in all duties.
• Travel to customer sites and lead activities on-site.
