The working lead will spend much of the time performing manufacturing tasks such as calibration, welding, machining, and furnace operations, demonstrating a high level of proficiency on multiple programs and/or disciplines of moderate to complex difficulty and is considered a subject matter expert (level III) in the primary discipline. Operates as a main point of contact for OJT training and auditing processes as well as mentors new and current employees. Collaborates with support staff to achieve On Time Delivery, Inventory, Cost of Poor Quality, efficiency, and company goals. The working lead may also support team coordinators by assisting with managing workflow and solving day-to-day production issues.
