Job summary

Tyson Foods at River Valley Ingredients in Hanceville, AL, seeks a Lead Machine Operator for D shift (Sun–Wed, 6pm–6am). You will support the supervisor by relaying instructions to the team and monitoring equipment to maintain a safe, productive operation.

You may read and file required logs, perform basic maintenance tasks, and operate frontend loader, manlift or forklift after certification. The role requires physical stamina and adherence to Tyson policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of experience with a single employer in the past 12 months.
• Must be able to read and complete required logs.
• Able to operate or obtain certification for frontend loader, manlift, forklift.

Responsibilities

• Assist Supervisor in coordinating daily department tasks and relaying instructions.
• Monitor equipment and report maintenance needs to ensure proper operation.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Tyson policies.
• Communicate with team via two-way radio and follow safety procedures.
