Job summary
Animal Care Center of Carters Creek in Columbia, TN seeks an experienced Lead Licensed Veterinary Medical Technician to support outpatient care and surgical procedures. The LVMT will balance exam room duties, client communication, and hands-on procedural support in a dynamic general practice.
The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of experience, TN LVMT licensure, and strong anesthesia, dental, and record-keeping skills.
Qualifications
- Active and good-standing LVMT license in Tennessee.
- 5+ years veterinary technician experience.
- Proficiency in anesthesia monitoring, dental prophylaxis, radiography, venipuncture, and records management.
- Strong clinical judgment and compassionate patient handling.
Responsibilities
- Support exam room, outpatient, surgical, and dental workflows.
- Perform anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery.
- Assist in surgery and dental procedures with radiography.
- Maintain accurate medical records and treatment documentation.
- Explain treatment plans and discharge instructions to clients clearly and compassionately.
