Job summary
Rise Technical Recruitment Limited in Chicago, IL is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer with a Low Voltage power distribution background to own the full mechanical design from concept through to on-site production. You will collaborate with electrical engineers and receive weekly mentorship from senior leaders while delivering complex LV switchgear projects.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Mechanical design experience within power distribution (switchgear or switchboards).
- Enclosure design experience with sheet metal, bolted designs, or cabinetry.
Responsibilities
- Lead the mechanical design of complex Low Voltage switchgear, including 2D elevations and detailed section views.
- Collaborate with Electrical Engineers to manage submittal and approval of new designs.
- Receive specialist training and mentorship from VPs and senior leadership via weekly sessions.
