Job summary

SB Events Co. is a Dallas-based luxury wedding planning and event management firm seeking an experienced planner to lead full-service weddings from onboarding to post-event closeout.

You will also partner with leadership to refine processes, build vendor relationships, mentor junior staff, and deliver an exceptional client experience. The role requires coordinating with venues and vendors, managing multiple weddings, and traveling for destination events as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.
• 2+ years of professional wedding or event planning experience.
• Experience managing full-service events from planning through execution.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing deadlines and manage multiple clients.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary planner and trusted advisor for assigned clients throughout the entire planning process.
• Lead planning meetings and guide couples through design, logistics, budgeting, and event-related decisions.
• Develop and maintain planning timelines, production schedules, floor plans, run-of-show documents, and event logistics.
• Coordinate with venues, vendors, and production partners to ensure all requirements are communicated and executed.
• Manage multiple weddings and events simultaneously with deadlines and client deliverables.
• Lead multi-day wedding weekends and oversee on-site production from setup to breakdown.
• Anticipate and resolve logistical challenges while maintaining client experience.
• Collaborate with CEO and leadership on client strategy and growth opportunities.
• Mentor assistant planners and event coordinators with guidance and support.
• Identify and lead process improvements to enhance workflows and systems.
