Job summary

Outline Interiors in Chicago, IL seeks a senior Interior Designer to lead luxury residential projects on‑site from concept to installation. You will manage multi‑million dollar budgets and coordinate with architects, contractors, and a procurement team to deliver exceptional spaces.

The role requires 6–8+ years of experience, with strong AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, Revit/SketchUp skills and FF&E expertise, all while mentoring a Design Assistant and maintaining a high standard of client service.

Qualifications

• 6–8+ years of high‑end residential interior design experience.
• Deep knowledge of trade resources and proven contractors.
• Experience managing large budgets for luxury projects.
• Ability to produce construction drawings and documentation.
• Experience with FF&E sourcing, budgeting, and installation.
• Strong coordination with architects and design professionals.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple luxury residential projects from concept through installation.
• Develop concepts, finishes, furniture, and fixtures selections.
• Manage multi‑million dollar budgets and vendor relationships.
• Produce and interpret construction drawings for contractors.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and design professionals.
• Mentor a Design Assistant and oversee procurement coordination.
