Job summary

Entertimeonline is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse in Georgia to lead and supervise resident care in a long-term care facility. This non-exempt, full-time role requires administering medications, coordinating with physicians, and guiding CNAs to ensure high-quality care.

The successful candidate holds a current Georgia LPN license, with preferred experience in long-term care. The position reports to the Administrator and emphasizes compliance with federal, state, and local standards.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current unencumbered Georgia LPN license.
• Experience in long-term care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise resident care following federal, state, and local standards and as directed by the Director of Nursing.
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during rounds.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments, ensure proper handling of medications and controlled substances.
• Observe residents’ reactions to medications and treatments and report changes to supervisor/physician.
• Maintain accurate medical records per policy.
• Provide education to residents and families regarding care.
• Assist in planning, supervising, and instructing CNAs; assign daily work.
