Job summary

State of Oklahoma, Lawton/Ft. Sill Veterans Home, is seeking a part-time Licensed Practical Nurse to provide technical nursing care under supervision in various settings, including clinics and homes. You will assist with vital signs, medication administration, and care planning while supporting the health team.

This temporary position requires an Oklahoma LPN license (or ENLC recognition), with shifts 6:30a-7p and/or 6:30p-7a, and an hourly rate of $45 for about 29 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Valid permanent Oklahoma LPN license or ENLC-recognized license.
• Knowledge of nursing procedures, terminology, and infection control.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and work under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing procedures and assist in care plans under supervision.
• Take temperatures, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
• Administer medications as ordered and document patient status.
• Supervise and assist in patient care when assigned as Charge Nurse.
• Report patient information to the supervisor or health team.
