Job summary

Bethesda Health Group is seeking an experienced LPN to lead staffing and supervise long-term care operations in our facility in Belleville, IL. You will assign staff, coordinate rounds, and collaborate with the Director of Nursing to ensure timely, high-quality resident care.

In this role you will mentor staff, document care plans, and promote professional standards while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance across daily activities.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in the state you will be working.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with patients, visitors and staff.
• Ability to manage time and organize daily schedule to meet productivity standards.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods and assist with patient transfers.
• Experience supervising long-term care staff preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assigns staff according to policies and ensures equal distribution of duties.
• Supports teamwork and promotes accountability and autonomy to enhance resident care.
• Conducts rounds to assess residents and care needs; reports concerns promptly to the Director of Nursing.
• Communicates with the Director of Nursing on areas of concern and documents plans.
• Manages staff, disciplines as necessary, and develops measurable staff goals.
